TIKTOK

Over the years, I’ve worked on a number of creative projects for TikTok ranging from interactive campaign sites to online live stream events, and creator-focused content hubs. Each brief came with its own challenge.

I helped bring TikTok’s personality to life in bold, expressive ways always balancing performance, interactivity, flexibility, and a touch of chaos (the good kind).

MONKEY SHOULDER

A small campaign site rooted in the brand’s connection to music and culture. The brief was to create a spin-wheel-style competition - but not simply the usual generic format.

I developed a range of creative concepts - and then worked with 3D Design, Jack Harvatt, to create the vinyl player assets.

Behind the scenes, we built a flexible white-label CMS solution designed for use across multiple William Grant & Sons brands. Monkey Shoulder was the first live version which was adopted with global brand teams, and met with strong engagement from customers around the world.

GOOGLE

An immersive storytelling project I worked on while at Phantom. The brief came from Google Russia, as part of an annual initiative aimed at engaging and inspiring young people through culture.

I was tasked with illustrating six key scenes from the iconic Russian novel Master and Margarita. After sketching and refining the illustrations, I sliced each scene into layered compositions for use in an immersive web experience.

We added sprite-sheet animations, audio, and parallax effects to bring the illustrations to life in a browser. Resulting in a cinematic experience that blended storytelling with interactivity.

BOY GEORGE

One of my first projects out of university. I landed a role at MN2S, an independent record label and talent agency. During my time there, I worked on a mish mash of design tasks, including artwork for releases for Boy George.

It was a crash course in collaborating with label managers and artists, and getting design out into the world quickly and professionally. A proper introduction to the music industry.
