MONKEY SHOULDER
A small campaign site rooted in the brand’s connection to music and culture. The brief was to create a spin-wheel-style competition - but not simply the usual generic format. I developed a range of creative concepts - and then worked with 3D Design, Jack Harvatt, to create the vinyl player assets. Behind the scenes, we built a flexible white-label CMS solution designed for use across multiple William Grant & Sons brands. Monkey Shoulder was the first live version which was adopted with global brand teams, and met with strong engagement from customers around the world.

I collaborated with JKR on the Spark Generator for the new Walmart Museum — an interactive tool that lets visitors reimagine Walmart’s iconic Spark in thousands of ways. My role was to help bridge the gap between design and development, leading on how we sliced, animated, and implemented each Spark variant. With over 18,000 possible combinations, each one needed a slightly different approach — a real mind-boggler, but a super fun challenge. We used a mix of Lottie and GSAP plugins to bring everything to life seamlessly on the museum’s big interactive screen.

In 2022, when Wolff Olins reimagined GSK’s brand identity, I partnered with them to launch The Code — a digital experience designed to unite their global workforce around a renewed purpose, voice, and culture. My role was to translate Wolff Olins’ conceptual UI design into a fully functional, accessible browser experience, with particular focus on performance and mobile responsiveness. The challenge was to build an immersive, scrollytelling site that guided employees through GSK’s commitments and encouraged them to sign on — all while supporting 26 languages and meeting strict accessibility standards. The result was a unified digital experience that not only rolled out the new identity internally, but actively engaged employees — inviting them to literally sign their name into a dynamic “DNA strand” of participants.

I was tasked with illustrating six key scenes from the iconic Russian novel Master and Margarita. After sketching and refining the illustrations, I sliced each scene into layered compositions for use in an immersive web experience. We added sprite-sheet animations, audio, and parallax effects to bring the illustrations to life in a browser. Resulting in a cinematic experience that blended storytelling with interactivity.
